The Vertex design uses Louisville Slugger's LS-2X Composite which applies slender high-strength and airy graphite fibers to create the perfect feeling handle. These slimmer fibers allow for more levels, giving the Vertex added support and endurance, as well as more barrel flex, resulting in a more prominent performance. The Vertex's barrel is created using AC21 Scandium Alloy. The Vertex has a synthetic cushioned grip on the 7/8 inch tapered handle and a 2 3/4 inch barrel.
